There is never a shortage of things to do when visiting Alert Bay - there is only never enough time to do them all!

Alert Bay and Cormorant Island offers lots of both outdoor and indoor activities. You can indulge in the outdoor pursuits, immerse yourself in local cultures and history, even bowl a perfect game! Whether you want to take part in one of our scheduled community events, such as Seafest, or prefer to venture out on your own, you'll find that the day just isn't long enough.

What's to do while I'm visiting Alert Bay?

	Charters & Tours
		Enjoy eco-cultural tours in the Broughton Achipelago in the company of life-long residents.  Whale watching generally begins in mid-June and runs through mid-October.  Fishing, cruising and kayak/camping support are always available, as are air charter excursions.
	Things to Do
		Visit the U'mista Cultural Centre or the Alert Bay Library/Museum
		Take a walking tour, ride the extensive bike trails
	Tour Alert Bay
		See the historical buildings, the world's tallest totem poles and the Ecological Park among other interesting and informative sights.
